Just go west from town, and there is a large Specforce base just a few minutes west. There is also an imperial base across the river to the NW.

I thought I had read somewhere there was a rebel mission terminal in this town. I looked but could not find one. Does anyone know if in fact there is one in town, and if so where it is?

There are rebel mission terminals on the second floor of one of the guild halls in Bela Vista if i'm not mistaken.

There are two guild halls is the northwest corner of Bela Vistal across the plaza from one another. The one to the south (loc +6700, -5600) has Rebel Mission Terminals upstairs. When you enter the building, go around to the right and find a stairwell leading to the top floor. There is an elevator in this building, but in only goes down, so don't bother with that.

The rebel mission terminal was removed after the last big patch. I don't think there's one in Bela Vistal anymore.

If you are looking for a mountainous adventure, take some destroy missions out of this City. Some very mountainous, cool-looking terrain here. (Also ideal for scouts with sniping capability, because it's harder for melee mobs to reach you.) :)
