Towering, fur-covered humanoids native to the planet Kashyyyk, Wookiees are one of the most recognizable species in the galaxy. They are strong and prone to fits of bestial rage, but are also intelligent, loyal, and trusting.
Among the Wookiees, bravery and honor are considered paramount. Though Wookiees are not warlike, they do make fierce warriors and deadly opponents when angered or threatened. The tales of so-called "Wookiee Berserkers" are legendary. But while Wookiees may appear primitive and even barbaric, they are actually quite comfortable with technology and can easily learn to pilot starships, repair machines, and wield advanced weaponry.
An average Wookiee grows to more than two meters tall and lives several times the lifetime of a human. Aside from their great strength and keen senses, they possess regenerative powers and can recover from serious wounds within days. Because of their fur, the disdain wearing any armor. In many ways, Wookiees are still mysterious to outsiders; for example, how Wookiees handle their dead remains a closely guarded secret.
Wookiees speak Shyriiwook, a language consisting of grunts, growls, roars, hoots, and screeches. They can understand other languages, including Basic, but have limited vocal capability and can only speak their own tongue.
The Wookiee species is psychologically stable and has a deep connection to nature. They love their homeworld and have a strong connection with animals, plants, and other components of the natural world. Wookiees place great value on morality, courage, compassion, and loyalty. Very few Wookiees willingly betray their friends or families. Typical of their beliefs is the Wookiee life debt, an oath of fealty extended to anyone who saves the life of a Wookiee. Finally, Wookiees feel that they are honored by their own deeds alone, and thus they do not care for medals or other material symbols of bravery or achievement.

Towering, fur-covered humanoids, Wookiees are one of the most
recognizable species in the galaxy. They are strong and prone to fits
of bestial rage, but are also intelligent, loyal, and trusting. Wookies
are the strongest species in the game.
Among the Wookiees, bravery and honor are considered
paramount. Though Wookiees are not warlike, they do make fierce
warriors and deadly opponents when angered or threatened. The tales of
so-called "Wookiee Berserkers" are legendary. But while Wookiees may
appear primitive and even barbaric, they are actually quite comfortable
with technology and can easily learn to pilot starships, repair
machines, and wield advanced weaponry.
An average Wookiee grows to more than two meters tall and lives several
times the lifetime of a human. Aside from their great strength and keen
senses, they possess regenerative powers and can recover from serious
wounds within days. In many ways, Wookiees are still mysterious to
outsiders; for example, how Wookiees handle their dead remains a
closely guarded secret.
Language
Wookiees speak Shyriiwook, a language consisting of grunts, growls,
roars, hoots, and screeches. They can understand other languages,
including Basic, but have limited vocal capability and can only speak
their own tongue. The Wookiee Battle Yell is the loud, ululating call
that Wookiees might give when attacking. It announces when a Wookiee
went into berserk rage, which was known as m'nuush in the Shyriiwook
language.
Culture The
Wookiee species is psychologically stable and has a deep connection to
nature. They love their homeworld and have a strong connection with
animals, plants, and other components of the natural world. Wookiees
place great value on morality, courage, compassion, and loyalty. Very
few Wookiees willingly betray their friends or families. Typical of
their beliefs is the Wookiee life debt, an oath of fealty extended to
anyone who saves the life of a Wookiee. Finally, Wookiees feel that
they are honored by their own deeds alone, and thus they do not care
for medals or other material symbols of bravery or achievement.
The Wookiee race was one of the strongest supporters of the
Old Republic, but found itself the target of Trandoshan slavers after
the Clone Wars. Obi-Wan Kenobi once hinted that Wookiees had a strong
affinity with the Force. They were officially enslaved by the Empire,
and forced to work in labor camps throughout the galaxy. Because of
this, most Wookiees didn't enjoy the presence of humans, even after the
Alliance freed them. Access to Kashyyyk was severely limited in the
wake of the Battle of Endor, allowing the Wookiees to regain their
culture and their pride.
Wookiee Liberation Front The
Wookiee Liberation Front was an organization "founded" on the planet
Cularin, during the height of the Clone Wars. A number of stories were
told about its origins, but the real story was actually one of
recklessness and stupidity. The gang formed by Meelo and her associates
was at the heart of the Wookiee Liberation Front, which was often
simply known as WOLF. When one of their members was captured and
imprisoned by the Metatheran Cartel, Meelo led her inept comrades in a
daring escape, which was bungled almost from the start. In the
resulting chaos, Meelo managed to rescue her friend, but the Jawa known
as Keth-Keth decided that they needed to cover their escape. Screaming
"Free Kashyyyk" as loud as his vocoder would project, Keth-Keth called
for people to rally around the Wookiee Liberation Front, in an effort
to draw the attention of the local police force away from their escape.
Although it was a simple ruse, the Wookiee Liberation Front received a
lot of press in the local holo-newscasts, and eventually became a
legitimate organization that funneled credits and supplies to help the
Wookiees of Kashyyyk in their attempt to oust the Separatist forces
that were trying to take control of their homeworld.
Wookiee Names
The traditional name for a Wookiee contains a prefix followed by a suffix. For example, the prefix Chew placed with the suffix bacca provides the name we all know and love: Chewbacca which would mean something like honored brother. It is also acceptable to place yy between the prefix and suffix.

its spelled WookieE people 2 Es
wookiees can go every class but cant wear all armor but to make up with this wookiees have armor that can take a good hit. about 500k for full suit. if you get a good suit it will be about 25% weaker then RIS armor which is pritty good for cheap and good armor.
they are the only race that can use the UBER Bowcaster rifle. very powerful kinda slow but very powerful. stats show that if you have some before nge they are better then a gen 4 lightsaber but not as fast....

I am getting the game as soon as the total experence comes out and am thinking of being a wookie (mainly because i like wookies and the extra health will help to cancel out the CU's "Harder monsters if you have no combat skill.")
Im thinking of being a:
Scout 4/1/1/4,
Master Artisan,
Master Architect,
Master shipwright.
I know that that is a lot of crafting and hardly any combat lvl (again, thats why I chose Wookie)
But with a Wookie, can he cope with that much crafting
OOPS Double post (thought it would turn up at bottom so i posted again thinking my rarther volotile internet connection had failed me again)

What if a Wookie invites a non-Wookie to whom he owes a life-debt (ala Chewie inviting Han to one of the forbidden tree-cities (this happened in one of the novels... one of the OLD novels...))
It is the one common thread that binds all living things.
We should emrace it with the love of life and desire for harmony.
Or should we instead cling to life and diversity, at the cost of peace?
Thanks in advance!:)

You are way better off not using armor if you are a brawler.
master tka
master medic
marksman 4/0/0/4
rifleman 4/00/4
nice long range abilities coupled with serious close end damage. and i can heal right back up lickity split and go back for more. i had scout 0/0/0/1 for the longest just to make a camp so i could heal wounds and craft something if needed.
i am fine with my char, no regrets here.
So somebody said that wookies no longer get a tamming and trapping bonuses - is it true or what?
Lastly, why can armor wearers use armor AND a shield generator anyway? I think they need to make it one or the other.
Try this little Recipie
Master Brawler Cause Lunge2, Intimidate2, Beserk2
Master TKA Cause TKA's Kick ass
1-hand 4040 Cause Melee and Ranged Def. & Dodge
2-hand 0040 Cause Counter-Attack
Polearm 0040 Cause Block
Scout 4000 Cause Running up hills slowly sucks
Notice Defensive Acuity
Notice High Defensive Acuity
Notice Block, Counter-Attack, Dodge
Notice High Melee and Ranged Defense
Think of the Tank you will be...
Hell, I'm pretty sure a jedi might think twice before dueling you.
The Galactic Empire is an immensely racist (and, for that matter, sexist) organisation. Many Wookiee's were taken and sold into slavery by Trandoshans during and after the Clone Wars. This is how Trandoshans avoided slave labour themselves.

As far as Marksmen go, one word Bowcaster. Hell of a weapon too. You'll climb up that rifle tree pretty quick. And as they have plent of attributes special shots aren't a problem.
As scouts wookies work pretty well. Fair attributes there, and the 10 trapping bonus comes in handy.
