Ok im the leader of Urbanlegendz... i was in a party at the time this happened along with 2 others that are in my LS. he DID NOT shout anything becuase there was nothing in my chat log from him.... the MPK i witnessed and nearly died from was that of CapitaoJr running past are camp with a tainted flesh and 4 weapons from deep within Garliage Citadel....SERKET if you dont know is an extreely dangerous nm and was not in this train becuase like i said the MPK'r ran by us and we were near the area of the serket spawn and he was not there. But anyway back to the subject.... now if this was not an MPK attempt then why would the tainted flesh and weapons just all of a sudden lose interest in Capitao and come after my party... now to continue this we had a BLM which btw was the only reason we escaped certain death who cast Escape and got us out shortly after the escape Capitao appeared outside the spawn and immediatly started casting a scroll of instant warp...probably to get away fast enough so that noone could see his name so he wouldnt have 50 GM's called on him and yes he did die right as the scroll finished and wound up dead wherever his HP happened to be.....THIS CLEARLy was an attmept to MPK otherwise he would'nt have run like a chicken and tried to warp as fast as he did... and again why in the world would the beasts all of a sudden give up there pursuit RIGHT ON TOP OF our party and start killing us???? if you can prove him innocent of this then I'll stand corrected

You don't get aggro'd by Serket. People are there, waiting for him. He's never around long enough, unclaimed, for him to just attack anyone. If he fell into the hole, and managed to get that much aggro, he's an idiot. If he trained to zone in Garlaige, he's an idiot. How somebody so completely incompetent could continue to breathe without constant reminder is beyond me.

Hey, mod, if you're "Impartial" about all this, why post? You don't have a complaint, you don't have a point, and this isn't the grand jury. There isn't going to be some trial of peers to decide the events. Are you trying to nip at the heels of tremor with overly helpful and friendly posts? It's not very good.

One, I VERY seriously doubt this would be "the" largest MPK in Remoran history. LOL Serket about a month ago was supposedly far far worse.

Two, I have 0 idea of what really happened, but I'll probably find out (and post the truth, whether it speaks well for my friends involved or not).

Three, I don't think a RNG75 is going to MPK an exp party in GC. That makes no sense whatsoever (based on the facts [or lack thereof] given).

Four, one possible assumption is that someone MPK'ed him and he was running for his "life" or training the MPK away from his friends killing Serket. The latter is a common technique when RMT tries to MPK. One person takes the train (usually someone with shadows) and runs the train away to keep the others safe.

Five, the other possible assumption is that someone MPK'ed people killing Serket. These mobs were still around Serket. He fell down the hole (hoping to claim serket) and was instead aggro'd by the train created by the MPK. At level 75 (and a few levels lower) the mobs in the main room downstairs DO NOT aggro. I repeat, they do not aggro level 75's. The only exceptions are the weapons, pots, and flesh's which SHOULD be nowhere near the holes. He could have easily fallen into a MPK train that no longer had a target.

In general, most MPK's are created by RMT (or occasionally by LS's against RMT). I'm not 100% sure, but I'd place the blame on RMT most likely.

i call total bullsh*t on this. there are too many people camping serket to have it go unclaimed and mpk people upstairs. capitaojr is in my ls and a stand up guy so back off

I used one of my angelfire accounts and made a mini website. They're free, and real easy.

A lot of people use photobucket, but I can't figure out how to make the imagae full sreen, so I don't use it.

Umm....wow, Moderator is like some renegade vigilante gone crazy. I wasn't there, so I can't really judge who did what.. however the events described are nothing new and have happened a bajillion times :)

Its possible your wrong Moderator, once a huge mpk happens at Serket it can go on for hours.

People getting aggro from the mpk and running around doesn't make them mpkers.

Me and my friends used to hang out in GC a lot, not to claim Serket, but to help with the mess.. I should have more free time next week, whats the current ToD of Serket floating at?

I have a lot of credibility with the GMs, I can make a good judgement about what is going on and get stuff done.

Thank you for posting those Fraps. I'm sorry if you feel I'm "faking" to be a GM. I am not doing any such thing and have not stated anywhere I was. You will not find in ANY of the Fraps of anyone involved I've sent /tells to me stating I am a GM or implying I am. YES I did say getting information was "my job" but that is still not stating I am a GM nor stating I have any duties/priveledges of a GM.

Capitaojr is my friend. When I sent him a /tell to see how he was doing yesterday he told me he was being accused of MPK. Therefore, being the friend I am, I tried to help him by creating this post after asking the people Iceknife tole me were there. He claims he accidently fell in the hole and aggroed a few monsters.

This Thread was created to get the truth on what happened. Now it's obvious to those of you accusing Capitaojr of MPK are proven wrong. He clearly fell into the hole, got aggro from a few of the mobs there, then tried to zone since he did not want to die. Whether you want to /blist add me, call me a "GM faker", report me, do whatever I don't care because I do what is right.

Capitaojr is a friend, and I'd do this for him whether you like it or not. I don't care how many of you died and claimed you were MPKd. Truth is, you died and got mad you died, so you blamed someone for MPK when they did no such thing. In your Fraps you show no proof of Capitao purposely training those mobs to you. End of story.

For once I agree with you. Serket is heavily camped by gilsellers so I have heard. So he jsut happened to go there and wander by a unclaimed serket with no one camping him?

Capitaojr is a NM hunter. I've seen him hunting LL ALL the time. And I know he has craploads of gil, had a peacock charm at two different points if I'm not mistaken, so hes not an idiot and its not just dumb luck.

Besides, he should be smarter than to just zone Serket. Just die and spare others from your fate.

I am here to explain what happened about all that misunderstanding.I was helping my friend Ziryab to find a treasure coffer, but then i fall in a hole near Serket room and got aggro by a Tainted Flesh, as soon as i run others 3 weapons aggro too.I tried to use Instan Warp but was not able, so i run like crazy but sadly 1 mob cast BIO III.As soon as i get to the zone i see some xp pt over there, then i start to shout RUN and ZONE !!!! since mobs were following me. As soon as i zone to Sauromugue Champaign, i see my Hp was only 79 and BIO III TOOK 20 DMG/tic, so, i thought, i will try to use Instan Warp and enter very fast inside MOG HOUSE the only way to survive.Instan Warp took a long time and i died before, so i was sent to Jeuno in front of Mog House Already death.I receveid call from the a xp pt that was inside Serket room that they died,and that a few mobs lost aggro and attack them, they said that i mpk them since mobs lost sight of me.Then i asked some members from pt near Zone, they confirmed my shout and survived.The pt that died did not let me explain the history , they simple blist me and did not give any chance say, then i asked Members from PT next to Zone say to them and confirm that i shout Run and Zone for sure, but the leader of the PT that died IceKnife did not want to listen to them.I have confirmation of people nearby zone that i shout for sure.And there is no reason to mpk a xp pt, they should have checked me, my HP was yellow , i was almost ready to die.Anyone who has Strider Boots would for sure try to survive and run like crazy to the zone, but i never thought a few lost sight and killed a pt in serket room, i thought ALL was still following.Thats why people near the zone got the message.Next time people should ask for explanation before call GM, i have proves that can be confirmed, Play nicely God Bless all those who accuse without any prove.

First off moderator our fraps proved he was innocent because he DIDn't SAY he MPK'ed us.. EVEN though it SHOWS there was NO shout... also the Fact you said darksoldier said he heard it. No sorry.. Wow so if you MPK someone it's not an MPK unless you TELL them you mpk'd them. Glad to know the new rules.

Also that's right pulling a mob towards EXP partys and trying to use a warp scroll isn't MPK'ing.. JEEZ what was I thinking... *smacks head*

@ Iceknife: Hey man. How's TTF going? As for screen shot, FFXI have a special screenshot system set up. I dont really know if it's the same on PC, but on PS2, they have to make sure the copyright and player's name and chat log disappear before allowing you to take a screenshot. Therefore, I assume that the FN + PrinScrn will not take screen shot of FFXI.

As for the MPK, judging from the replies of this post. Though an unfair, and stupidly caused MPK. It is no where near being this huge, humungus, Remora shaking MPK as it was blown out of proportion by moron here(Moronator). And not only him, it was likely blown out of proportion by the majority of those who fell victim.

LOL the thing I never would of complained if it had not been for this thread he started. I understand MPK's happen. This isn't the first time I've died in an MPK and I doubt it'll be the last. I was over it then I log into alla and there is this thread about it. As well as I have never met capitaojr before in this game



I tend to agree with this too. Why was this MPK / whatever it was such a big deal to deserve it's own post. The forums would be flooded if each fourm posted about each mpk. I'm sorry I keep replying to it but I'm a noob what do I know.
